Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
The short version: DealSpreader has no accounts and no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email or payment details. Deals you save stay in your own browser. When you click through to a store, that store's own privacy policy applies.
Who we are
DealSpreader (dealspreader.com) collects deals and price drops from major retailers and links to them. Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page.
Information we don't collect
You can use DealSpreader without creating an account. We don't collect your name, email address, phone number, home address or payment information, and we don't sell personal information to anyone.
Information stored in your browser
Two features use your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us:
- Saved deals. When you tap the heart on a deal, its ID is stored under
dealspreader.saved. Expired deals are removed from this list automatically. - Theme. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is stored under
dealspreader.theme.
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for dealspreader.com.
Hosting and technical data
DealSpreader is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures page visits in aggregate without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Affiliate links
Many links on DealSpreader are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. To credit that purchase, the retailer or its affiliate network (such as Amazon Associates or Impact) may set cookies or use similar technology on its own site after you leave DealSpreader. We don't receive your personal or payment details from these purchases, only aggregate reports of qualifying sales.
As an Amazon Associate, DealSpreader earns from qualifying purchases.
Retailer and social media sites
When you follow a link to a store, or use a share button to post a deal on Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Reddit or Threads, you leave DealSpreader. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don't control what they collect.
Children
DealSpreader is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't collect personal information tied to you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Data saved in your browser is under your control. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us and we'll help.
Changes to this policy
If we change how DealSpreader handles information, for example by adding email deal alerts, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
